Medical Education

Director of Medical Education

The Director of Medical Education is responsible for having a thorough understanding of each Atlantic medical school curriculum.

Having this insight enables the Director of Medical Education to identify gaps in undergraduate medical education and develop tools, resources, and advocacy initiatives to address them.

The Director of Medical Education also seeks to attend external meetings on various medical education-related boards, committees, task forces, and working groups, as they see fit.

Medical Education Needs Assessment Survey

We are collecting feedback regarding medical education as experienced by Atlantic Canadian medical students.

The goal of this survey is to characterize strengths, shortcomings, and barriers to education in Atlantic Canada. We intend to later convey the findings to Atlantic medical schools in order to advocate for medical education that is reflective of the needs of present Atlantic medical students and future physicians, as well as to create our own resources to help solve identified educational gaps!
